BioI was born in 1970 in Omaha Nebraska (go Huskers!) (k-5 at Rosehill) moving to Calgary Alberta (go Flames!) in 1981 (5-6 at Prince of Wales, 7-9 at Milton Williams, and 10-12 at Lord Beaverbrook). First got interested in computers playing around with a friend's Apple ][ clone (his father sold computers) and later with IBM PCs (Dad brought home a Compaq, XT clones in high school). First home computer was a TRS-80 CoCo (Mom worked at Radio Shack). Learned BASIC, 6809 & 8086.
